Revamp town meetings, provide easier access to information discussed via social media and a video library. Assign district captains, from all parties, providing useful and essential information to the Town, giving them a seat at the table.
FINANCIAL RESPONSIBILITY:
Use proven business principles - we can’t spend more than we make! Review every contract to uphold terms. Departmental accountability!
PUBLIC SAFETY:
Provide enough resources to protect all residents equally, regardless of what area you live in.
ESSENTIAL SERVICES:
Adequate staffing levels to bring our services back to where they need to be.
DEVELOPMENT:
Encourage small business & home expansion by making the permitting process simpler. Ensure developer project goals align with Town of Amherst’s vision, getting buy-ins before they are approved.
RESPECT:
Listen to and work with everyone regardless of affiliation.
